The free cam is most of the time, but sometimes is offline, as opposed to the private 24/7 cams in my members site. The reason for this is because I use my free cam on a lot of different sites including this one, and I cannot use my cam on yahoo for example, when it is streaming on this website. However I do have it on quite often, and the best times to catch me live on the Streaming cam: late at night (after 10pm EST). I am almost never on cam between 9am-6pmEST . During weekends I will be on sporadically. If you don't seem to catch me, you probably have bad timing, cuz I'm on cam a lot. Why is your hair different every time I see you on cam?

I have a lot of fake hair, and then underneath it all of course is the chelsea \m/ (which changes in shade periodically as well). As a model, I like to change my look and hairstyles, and with all the fun wigs and dread attachments you can get now, it's even easier. Also... they make great skullcaps in the winter, if you have a shaved head ^_^ I wear them in the winter more often than the summer. hehehe.

yeah right dude. How many people do you know named IVY? haha. Ivy was my moniker when I worked for the Cabaret Lounge, back in 2000... and I adopted it again for a little while when I redesigned my cam site in like 2003. My main is a lvl 75th dark elven wizard on Xegony (started on E'ci, moved to Zebuxoruk, then got merged to Xeg), 1,300+ AA's, max leader aa's, all current flags, 13.7k mana pool (with familiar of course), and 14k HP when raid buffed. I also am the proud owner of several twinks: a lvl 70 chanter with 100+ AA's, 60 necro, 59 monk, and a 47 paladin. My favorite pastimes include raiding, boxing my own group in Rifts, and PL'ing my twinks. ;D I am fucking hardcore and not your typical noob webcam girl who plays MMO's, ok... once WoW hit the shelves I noticed a sudden influx of airhead camgirls claiming they were gaming chicks because they play this game that is designed to be easy enough for ANYONE to get to level 60 and attend raids, with little to no skill involved. It's nothing personal, (unless you're a rude asshole), I am just notoriously horrible at getting back to people. This seems to be pretty common amongst camgirls actually, but I'm like this off the internet as well. Through my forum, or on IRC. (aagempire.com, #juggla). I only use other chat programs for business or to talk to real life friends. Generally I don't enjoy using messengers so you'll have to use one of these methods to contact me at first.

 

Why aren't you ever on Yahoo/AIM/MSN/ICQ/etc/etc/etc?

I do log into messengers, every great once in awhile when I am either extremely bored, decide to do private shows, or have something special going on with my site, but you'll never see me chatting on these for any more than a few hours a month, at most. Why?

Short answer: Because there are way too many assholes, scam artists, and freaks for me to deal with, and I have a low tolerance for bullshit.

Long answer: Not only do I not have the time to sit on chat programs all day/night, but let me list off a few of the things that have been a result of me chatting with people on Yahoo and AIM.
1. Getting bombarded every 12 seconds with requests to show my tits, watch someone on their webcam jerk off, and the person getting angry and calling me a whore when I am unwilling or uninterested.
2. People assuming that because I'm online, my webcam is on, and when they find out it isn't, instruct me to turn it on. Hello, fuck off! If I wanted to be on the fucking cam it would be on, idiot.
3. I really can't deal with that A/S/L crap, and all of the other various fucking mundane questions that 99% of the people I talk to ask me, one after the other. Especially when they should already know all of that information from this fucking site! If you can't be bothered to read through my site for more than 5 minutes to find out any of these things on your own, why the hell should I waste my time talking to you?? Other questions I can't stand: "so u have a cam?" (WTF??), "do u like sex", "can I get a freebie", "so are u really goth"
4. Fucking scammers. Guys who attempt to rip me off and get free shows, claiming they will send a wishlist gift and never do. People pretending to be someone they are not, becoming a 'friend' of mine, and then me finding out that the entire thing is a charade - and it's really a guy who wants to score free camshows. This has happened to me a couple of times. One person calling himself "Lindsey" did this to me over a period of 3 entire months, and I stupidly fell for it. "Lindsey" pretended to be a bi-curious girl with a huge crush on me, who didn't have a credit card to pay me for shows, but she would "love to have just a peek" at me. He sent me pictures of Talena Atfield claiming to be her, and since I'm not a big 'Kittie' fan, I didn't know who it was. I thought she was beautiful, and pretty soon I started looking forward to talking to "her" every day. This guy even had my fiance convinced... and I not only let him get a peek at me, but gave him his own shows on numerous occasions, with "her" promising me some wishlist items from Hot Topic where "she" supposedly worked, that of course were never given. He even went so far as to say I should come to CA and visit him, which I came very close to doing. Thank god I didn't buy the tickets, that would have been a shitload of money, and then I would have been all the way across the country to visit someone that didn't even exist. He eventually made up a story that he'd been caught with drugs in the car and was going to jail for 3 years, but I soon found out this person was trying to talk to other cam girls as well, on a different alias... and in all probability, is reading this very sentence right now. (You're one sad freak, btw. But don't worry, it'll come back to you, I can promise you that.)
5. People hacking my chat programs if they become angry. For example, the "Lindsey" freak got upset that I tracked down his new screenname after he dissapeared when I figured out what was going on, and thought he'd be really LEET and use a program to change my yahoo password. At this point I was pretty much all set with Yahoo messenger anyway though, so it really didn't bother me a whole lot... just gave me another reason not to use the program.
6. Death threats, haters, and other such harrassment. You'd think I was fuckin' Marilyn Manson or something.

At some point, EVERY time I turn a chat program on, at least one of these things will happen and cause me stress and aggravation, many times all at once, or within 20 seconds of me signing in. Imagine dealing with that kind of shit every time you logged on. I hope this answers the question loud and clear.

Why'd you go corporate after all these years?!

I get this question every so often from visitors who have been coming to the site for years and are surprised to see the pay area. There will ALWAYS be a large portion of my site that is totally public and free, but there are several reasons that I now have a Private Members area. One of these reasons is that because of all the traffic I get, I really can't say anything that I want in my diary. I find this extremely stifling, and the diary is where I truly express myself. It existed before I ever even thought of putting a webcam on my site. Hundreds of people read my words every day and included in these hundreds will always be at least some people that I don't want to reveal some things to. I can't always say or do what I want on my public site because I have to worry about how it's going to affect x, y, & z. For example I can't smoke on my free cam much anymore. This is because my cam is on dozens of portals that do not allow for drug use. If you have been a fan from the beginning you'll remember how often I used to post sexy bud pics before my site got very popular. That is just 1 example of many things I am restricted to doing in public. There are also some things I'm not comfortable with letting the whole world see and know... so this is like my inner sanctuary, where I can say and do whatever I want, in a much more private setting, and it feels more like how I felt when I started my website in 1997. Due to the new 2257 laws, I'm not even supposed to be showing anything REALLY fun on the free cams. On my private cams I can show whatever the fuck I want and not have to worry about anything at all. Another reason? Loyals and fans have been urging me to create a members site for years, so I knew there was an interest. (In fact, it's because of my handful of regulars/supporters that keep me motivated to keep on doing it.) A bigger reason, is that the cost of running all of these sites is high, and I don't make enough nearly revenue from my sponser links... people don't click on them unless I trick them into it. Speaking of high, the cost of living in a major city is VERY high, so at the end of the month, even with a fulltime job, I typically don't have a lot of cash leftover for fun stuff like ordering pizza, going out to clubs, etc. It's nice to have a little bit of extra income for some of that fun stuff. I am back in college now, which makes things even tighter. And last but not least, I also have several large artistic projects that I hope to have completed in a few years time, such as a book of my poetry, and possibly a solo EP in the future. By becoming a member of my site you are supporting my goals!

Do you ever meet your fans in real life?

Yes, I have met quite a few of my fans in real life! However this is not a normal occurance and usually happens only when I have become good friends with the person, or if they are coming to see me perform live with my band, or at a fetish club or party. I have also met friends/fans while traveling out of Boston. However I have NEVER "hooked up" with any male fans. I ain't a whore. So don't even think about it.
